So that our old Church can be kept in good order, we have engaged a stone mason to re-point the mortar and replace and stones that have weathered too much. There is rising damp and earlier restorations that have to be removed, new stone inserted, including a damp course, then replastered inside and painted. This will be a big job, so we have started to put funds aside for that purpose.
