Cherry Gardens Uniting Church has collected some family history information from early church families. We are always looking for additional information and photos to help rebuild information that we hold on the history of our little old chapel.
Some of the early families include the Boothy, Broadbent, Brumby, Burgess, Donnell, Field, Gardner, Jacobs, Le Maistre, Lewis, Machereth, Middleton, Richards, Scroop and Thompson families.
Some of the families hold reunions at Cherry Church, so there will be separate headings for each of those on this site.
We are also researching some of the early ministers of the Adelaide, Clarendon and then Blackwood Methodist Circuits that Cherry Gardens belonged to at different times.
