Reverend David Houston will Preach at Cherry Gardens Uniting Church on Sunday 1 June 2025 at 9.30 am. Reverend Houston was a parish minister when Cherry Gardens was part of the Blackwood Methodist Parish and has enjoyed preaching at Cherry Church for many years. David Houston is a former Director of the Lay Education Centre and and was Lay Ministry Consultant for the Synod of South Australia 1989–1994. He lectured in Lay Ministries Studies at Parkin-Wesley College from 1994 until retirement in 1998. The service will be led by Stephanie Dube and music will be provided by Joan Beech. David will lead us in Holy communion to which everyone is invited. The main rooms of the church property are all heated, the site is disability friendly and there is plenty of car parking.
